Splicing scissors are used to cut carrier tape to the perfect size. Either available as single or dual pitch depending on user requirements. Our Dual Pitch scissors can be used with 8-24mm (max 32mm) width carrier tape. Our Single Pitch scissors can be used with 8-56mm width tape.
What tape should I use with splicing scissors?
Carrier tape is used to safely package and ship electronic components. Our Polystyrene Splice Carrier Tape is the perfect tape to be used with our splicing pitch scissors. This tape is available in 8mm, 12mm, 16mm, 24mm, 32mm, 44mm and 56mm widths. This means that our scissors can be used on all these widths.
Note: Splicing scissors have sharp blades – handle with care
