ESD PU TIP GLOVES – CARBON FILAMENT
Our ESD PU Tip Gloves – Carbon Filament, are ideal for use when handling or transporting devices and components that are susceptible to damage from electrostatic discharge. Contains a carbon filament, a long-lasting electro-conductive filament, made with a three-layer composite fibre. A centre layer of carbon containing dissipative polymer sandwiched between two nylon layers. The corona discharge caused by this construction produces a long-lasting static eliminating effect. Each finger has a polyurethane (PU) coating to the tip sections. The back and palm of the glove remain uncoated and the glove material ensures a comfortable fit for prolonged periods of time, especially when working with static sensitive devices such as PCBs, subassemblies and semiconductors.
Designed for safe handling of electronic components, offering effective electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection. They feature a natural light grey carbon liner with white polyurethane-coated fingertips, ensuring precise and secure grip. These gloves are made from 80% nylon and 20% carbon, knitted with a 13-gauge for durability and flexibility. The gloves have a surface resistivity of 1×10^6-8 Ω/cm, providing reliable static control. Washable in a conventional washing machine at a temperature not exceeding 40°C using non-biological detergent, maintaining their ESD properties.
