SMOOTH ESD MATTING – 3 LAYER

Our 3 Layer Smooth ESD matting provides excellent Anti-Static protection. Suitable for ESD workbenches. Easy to clean with excellent lay flat properties for a flat work surface. Each pre-cut mat is supplied as standard with a 10mm press stud in each corner.

Smooth ESD Matting is designed to be volume conductive across the whole surface layer and has a buried conductive middle layer which improves the electrical properties by acting as a fast track to move static charge to ground. Specifically developed so that when the top surface is “dirty” the mat can be flipped over with no loss of performance, which can double the usable life span.

Designed to provide a safe and static-free workspace for sensitive electronic components. This matting is 3mm thick and available in three color options: blue, green , or gray. The mat features a surface resistance of 1×10⁶ ≤ R ≤ 1×10⁹ and a bottom resistance of 1×10³ ≤ R ≤ 1×10⁶, ensuring effective static dissipation.

The matting is composed of three distinct layers:

The surface layer is a 1.25mm thick static-dissipative material.
The middle layer is a 0.5mm conductive layer, providing a pathway to dissipate charges.
The bottom layer is a 1.25mm thick static-dissipative layer for additional protection and stability.

We supply our matting as either a roll (1.2m x 12m) or pre-cut: 600mm x 1.2m and 1.2m x 1.8m. These sizes make it easy to cover workbenches and other critical surfaces of all sizes in ESD-sensitive environments. Constructed from high-quality antistatic (conductive) and static-dissipative materials combined with durable synthetic rubber, ensuring longevity and reliable performance.
