Guaranteeing Supply
Post Covid, guaranteed supply is a key factor in decision making for our customers, recently compounded by the geopolitical, financial and environmental factors we are all negotiating. With the desire to move away from a reliance on China and the resultant investment in semiconductor manufacture nearer home, we have been working hard expanding our extensive distribution network within Europe and North America to provide an efficient streamlined supply chain without compromising on quality.
Sustainability
Supply chain sustainability is at the core of our strategy for 2024. We are committed to promoting a positive impact socially, environmentally and economically throughout our global operation. We actively strive to reduce carbon miles through stock consolidation and in-plant stock programs. Our global distribution network allows us to reduce freight time thus further reducing carbon miles for our customers and our innovative range of replenishment modules removes the need for external packaging during transit which reduces vast amounts of waste. Our attention has also turned to product. We are developing a range of 100% recycled ESD packaging which has the potential to replace 15 million single use pink antistatic bags per annum. An exciting new product set that we are extremely proud of.
New Product Innovation
In addition, 2024 sees the launch of a new range of carrier tapes. The range has been specifically developed in accordance with the EIA, JIS and EIAJ standards in a range of widths from 8mm to 72mm with over 600 sets of open tools. Custom designs and sizing will also be available with fast turn arounds to fulfil urgent sourcing requirements.
