HIGH TEMPERARURE POLYIMIDE MASKING DOTS
High temperature polyimide masking dots are ideal for masking gold fingers of printed circuit boards during wave solder or solder dip process, as well as for solder wave masking and electrical insulation. These properties result in a tape with remarkable dimensional stability and excellent electrical and physical properties over a wide range of temperatures. High temperature masking dots are composed of a polyimide film masking dots with silicone adhesive on a clear easy release liner. High temperature masking dots are both flame and chemical resistant. This product is neither corrosive nor ozone-depleting and is both flame and chemical resistant.
Designed to protect sensitive areas during industrial processes such as wave soldering and powder coating. Capable of withstanding extreme conditions, these dots provide reliable performance in environments requiring high heat, chemical, and flame resistance, while ensuring no adhesive residue is left upon removal.
These masking dots can endure temperatures up to 230ºC (446ºF) and are available in four widths: 6mm, 8mm, 10mm, and 12mm, providing flexibility for various applications. They are ideal for preventing component and fixing holes from solder fill, and larger dots can be used for extensive area masking. Packaged in rolls of 1,000 dots, they are well-suited for use in electronics, automotive, and general manufacturing industries where precision and quality are essential.
