ESD HEEL GROUNDER
The ESD heel grounder includes a simple clip fastener for ease of use. Designed to ensure continuous ESD protection and long-term use. The clip fastener is a convenient alternative to a hook and loop strap with its quick open and close function. Intended for use in conjunction with all ESD flooring or matting, each heel strap incorporates a 1 Meg Ohm safety resistor.
Designed for long-term use and includes a 1 Meg Ohm safety resistor in each strap for operator protection. The hard-wearing straps are washable in mild detergent, ensuring durability and hygiene. The outer conductive surface has a resistivity of 10³ – 10⁵ ohms, while the inner anti-static surface has a resistivity of 10⁷ – 10⁸ ohms. The conductive tab has a resistivity of 10³ – 10⁴ ohms, with an overall resistivity of 10⁶ ohms. Conforms to the requirements of ANSI/ESD S-20.20 and EIA 625 standards.
It is recommended that an ESD ankle strap be worn on both feet to ensure proper grounding. Should be regularly tested using an ESD test station to verify its effectiveness and maintain compliance with safety standards.
